wedding writer

You've heard of a wedding photographer, but have you heard of a wedding writer?

When you are planning a wedding, a photographer is a must. Why is that? Because your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and you want to be able to remember it vividly for decades to come. From little details like the cake and the rings, to the heart-stopping moment when he sees you for the first time in your dress, 5x7 images on glossy paper become treasures, mementos, of this most auspicious day.

But what if you had more than pictures to look back on with your grandchildren one day?

What if there was someone there, taking in every detail from the smell of the flowers to the way his eyes filled with tears as you made your way down the isle? What if this person was writing it all down, fashioning the story of your day and creating a bouquet of words you will treasure for years to come.

What if someone was writing your fairytale?

Consider inviting a writer to be present on your wedding day, watching for the little moments and capturing them on paper for you to enjoy forever.

Message Sarah for rates and details about having your wedding story captured.

How it Works

Your Love Story

First, I'll meet with the two of you for coffee. You'll tell me how you met, what drew you to each other, at what point you "knew." I'll be taking notes, already penning your story.

Your Wedding

Then, I'll be present on your wedding day. I'll be taking notes on what the weather was like, what the groomsmen forgot, how potent the tulips were...all the details you may soon forget. I'll capture it all on paper, from the vows to the cake.

Your Treasure

I'll compile your story, have it bound, and present it to you, to cherish for the rest of your life.
